********Looking for the apron giveaway??***********
{leave a comment at the end of this post to be entered}
I apologize now if this is just way too long!{keep going it will be worth it}
Like I said before, my hubby and I escaped took a little road trip to Oklahoma last Friday to see one of our favorite couples. It was a real treat to go without the kids {thanks to my parents}. Jarod and Laura {our friends} showed us around their new church and then we went out to dinner at a fancy Mexican restaurant....yum.
After dinner we went downtown to the Cain's ballroom in Tulsa to go see the David Crowder band. SO MUCH FUN!! Standing room only, small ballroom and no more than 500 people makes for a great concert and worship experience. It was probably one of the best concerts I've been to. Here is a short take, sorry it got cut off.
Here are the men before the concert {mine's on the right}
Laura and I
and another one of the band {not a great pic, I know...but it's the best I got}
On Saturday morning Jarod's worship band played at the Tulsa run so we were glad to get to see him play.
We had to leave right after the run was over so we could get back in time for Halloween.
Just in time.
We got the kids from my parent's house, took them home to get on costumes and then hit the trick or treat circuit. We ended up back at my parent's house for some dinner {thanks mom} and just hang out for a little while and let the kids count their loot.
This is Josiah after EACH piece of candy he received. Not kidding...he was giddy with each and every piece.
Josiah found his buddy Woody and a blurry horse too.
The kids at the end of a long evening being a just a little dorky.
Last, but NOT least apparently it was my 1 year blogiversary today. Woo hoo! for me. I generally don't stick to much so this is quite an accomplishment for me. It is also my 250th post today...I guess I had more to say than I thought I would.
Thanks so much for reading and commenting. It does a heart good to know there are people who actually read what is written and care enough to say so. Bless ya!
If you got all the way through this post you deserve a prize so you should definitely leave a comment because you will be entered in a drawing for one of my aprons.
Become a follower and you can have 2 entries {please leave separate comments to let me know}.
I will post a picture of the apron as soon as I finish it {I cut out about 10 of them today}.
I will do the drawing on Saturday, November 7th sometime in the morning so best of luck to ya!{I don't really believe in luck, but it seemed like the thing to say :)}
