Absolutely my favorite thing we saw in Colorado last week.
This is the alluvial fan created by the rocks and debris from the Lawn Lake flood of 1982. It was an amazing site and the kids had a wonderful time climbing all the rocks and making their way up the side of the waterfall. The best part is we didn’t even know about it and just happened along this site as we were going on a scenic drive up the mountains.
I’m linking up with Sweet Shot Tuesday today

Oh how cool! Great shot and it brought back such delightful family memories. We used to go to a beach with a rock pier every summer and I would climb those rocks all day long. I still credit that with the fact that I usually have great balance! Thank you for such a Sweet Shot Tuesday :)
